Valentine’s Day Favorites

If 2020 taught us anything, it’s to celebrate the little moments and take any excuse to make something special. Our favorite means of taking our own advice in this instance is by setting the table. There really has never been a better excuse to stay home for Valentine’s Day. Whether celebrating with a significant other, friends or children, setting a lovely tablescape is the perfect way to create a special environment if you ask us. It also doesn’t hurt to throw in a little sussie either. In case you haven’t heard us explain the term “sussie” before – it’s a small, unexpected gift intended to be a surprise.

For our Valentine’s tablescape this year we included our favorite linen placemats and dinner napkins from Loulou La Dune, Sir/Madam Tulip glasses and of course our Estelle Colored Glass stemware. While we like to be as festive as possible, we also like to incorporate items that we use all year rather than pieces specific enough to only reach for for specific holidays.
