When it comes to luxurious linens in assortments of crisp classics and playful prints, D. Porthault is a household name.
Founded in 1920 in Paris, Daniel Porthault began his business by opening a small lingerie shop prior to his wife, Madeleine urging him to expand into home couture. Porthault eventually obliged and expanded his business to include linens. “At a time when France and the world were sleeping on traditional white and ivory linen, Madeleine and Daniel introduce a new style of bedding ~ printed sheets.”
“For one hundred years, D. Porthault has been inspired by the colors, lines and lushness of nature, and has nurtured the skills of textile design and production.” Over the many years of being in business, D. Porthault has accumulated notable customers such as Charles de Gaulle, Sir Winston Churchill, President and Mrs. John F. Kennedy, Coco Chanel, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, the Duchess of Windsor…just to name a few.
Our very favorite D. Porthault pieces include but are certainly not limited to their table lines, iconic boudoir printed pillows, shams as well as their luxurious robes and bath accessories.
All of this to say, we are very excited about their semi-annual sale that begins online today. Due to health and safety restrictions, the sale that typically takes place in their Manhattan boutique will be available online only. Offerings will be between 20%-70% off which means now is the time to stock up quickly because items will sell out quickly! Hint hint: Christmas shopping could be completed in one full sweep with a sale as good as this one!
Be sure to visit their website here to purchase your favorites before they are gone.
