LAUNDRY LOVES

When it comes to laundry products, we are partial to few favorite brands. With children, pets and everything in between in and out of our home, we have come to fancy ourselves somewhat of laundry aficionados.

We have been longtime fans of two brands specifically: Nellie’s and The Laundress. We tend to gravitate towards all natural products which is why we began purchasing products from these two brands and haven’t looked back since.

The Laundress makes specialized products for specific items such as delicates, wools and cashmere as well as specific formulas for everything from crease release, home spray and even baby stain remover. All of Nellie’s and The Laundress products are allergen free, cruelty free and free of toxins such as phosphate and artificial color, to name a few.

While we have tried each product from both lines, we have a few that remain front runners in our laundry routine. Our go-to’s from Nellie’s are the Powdered Laundry Detergent and Oxygen Brightening Powder. As for The Laundress our tried and true products include the Wash and Stain Bar, Stain Solution, Fabric Conditioner and last but not least, the Home Spray.

Nellie’s products can be used more broadly, however The Laundress has many wonderful products for specific categories. For linens and delicates we typically use The Laundress Delicate Wash as well as the Linen Crease Release Spray. In addition, we also mix in Nellie’s Oxygen Brightening Powder. The holy grail product which is our most used is The Laundress Stain Bar.
